| Developing Transcription Solutions | 12 September 2007 |
| |
| Requirements |
The increase in demand for DVD transcription required us to adapt our visual transcription software to enable speedy and accurate transcription. |
| Details |
We researched and purchased various software packages to enable our transcribers to directly input text whilst simultaneously viewing the DVD through their PC monitors. In addition we have the means to dub from DVD onto audio cassette and then visually check the text and gestures on the PC monitor using various software packages. |
| Result |
These solutions give us the versatility to transcribe even the poorest recording, as we have options for improving the sound quality by dubbing onto audio cassette if necessary. | |
