AVR Transcription Limited is a member of the British Institute of Verbatim Reporters and has been an approved member of the Tape Transcription Panel for the Department of Constitutional Affairs since 1995. Our transcribers are skilled and experienced in a range of specialist fields.

We will consider any other methods needed to meet customer requirements. We transcribe material through a wide range of media and we presently supply transcripts via Document Exchange, Royal Mail, E-mail and Fax.

We have considerable experience of working to strict deadlines and we will thoroughly assess the practicality of achieving timescales when tendering for contracts or discussing ad hoc requirements with clients.

Confidentiality & Security

We recognise the need for confidentiality in all work undertaken and its importance is reinforced to our employees.

All staff are security vetted and are required to sign the Official Secrets Act. If required, transcripts can be anonymised to protect identities.

We are situated in modern premises on a secure business park. Our offices have a NACOSS approved Redcare alarm system and are protected by electronic entry barrier systems.

All work is backed up daily with data recovery plans in place. Sensitive recordings and paperwork are stored in fireproof safes. Work can be securely stored for a set period of time or destroyed upon completion, depending upon clients’ preference.

Cost Effectiveness

We not only seek to reduce our own costs but also those of our clients.

We can offer discounted rates for transcripts required within longer deadlines.

We seek to eliminate printing costs where possible by supplying transcripts on CD, disk or via email if preferred.

We also offer a free collection/delivery service for contracted clients within a 5 mile radius.

We undertake digital dictation and various typing services enabling client companies to reduce employment costs such as recruitment and sickness absence by outsourcing their work to us.
