Visual Transcription
Our visual transcription unit is equipped with the latest technology and software to enable the interview to be viewed through the computer whilst transcribing.
All non-verbal communication is included, such as nods of head and various gestures. Times are included throughout the transcript for ease of reference.
The visual transcription unit is secure; Security passes and additional door codes are required to gain access to AVR’s office, and the unit is protected by a NACOSS grade 3c Redcare alarm system, incorporating an automated police response. Higher security information is held inside the restricted suite within the unit, which has the added protection of a door code.
Recordings and paperwork are stored in fireproof, digitally locked safes, ensuring security and confidentiality is maintained at all times. Work can be securely stored on one of our military grade encrypted, password protected storage devices for a set period of time or destroyed upon completion, depending upon clients’ preferences.
AVR also have the capability to provide a subtitling service to help clients meet the requirements of accessibility legislation.
